The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will be closing the Kouchibouguac River Bridge No. 1 on Route 133 between Shédiac and Cap-Pelé indefinitely.
Detour signage will be in place to re-route traffic through Route 15.
The closure is due to deterioration on the bridge that was discovered after a recent inspection.
