New Brunswick’s liberal leader is recognizing the province’s high school graduates.
Kevin Vickers is seeking an innovative approach to celebrating students’ achievement.
Vickers says adversity often breeds creativity, demonstrated by window visits to family members in nursing homes or drive by birthday parties.
He says perhaps the same ingenuity can be applies to celebrate graduations and farewells while keeping everyone safe and respecting social distancing requirements.
Vickers says it’s a momentous occasion for families and friends and play an important role in the mental health of graduates.
He is calling on all New Brunswickers to put their heads together and figure out a way to highlight graduation while respecting social distancing rules.
