A Sainte-Anne-de-Kent man is facing numerous charges after driving while prohibited and trying to run away from police.
RCMP say a man was arrested Tuesday night after he failed to stop for police, abandoned his vehicle and then ran off along an ATV trail in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent.
In Moncton court, 21-year-old Joel Gray was charged with assaulting a police officer with a weapon, dangerous driving, evading police, public mischief and driving while prohibited.
He is being held in custody until his next court appearance on Friday afternoon.
