Judge To Decide If Baby Taylor Case Will Go To Trial

A judge will render a decision on Thursday as to whether the so-called Baby Taylor case will go to trial.

Both the Crown and the defence presented final arguments to the judge in Moncton court today.

We can’t report what was said since the preliminary inquiry is under a publication ban.

The accused, 31-year-old Christine Margaret Wood who sat stoically in court, is charged with three offences including attempted murder.

Wood was arrested in May 2013, four years after the body of a newborn baby boy was found in a snowbank on Taylor Road in Monteagle.

She was later released from custody on strict conditions.
