JRCC Plucks PEI Man From Waters After Falling Overboard

Luck is on a PEI’s man side, after he was knocked overboard in the waters in Malpeque Bay.

RCMP received a distress call yesterday morning of a vessel in trouble in northern PEI.

When members of the Joint rescue Coordination Centre arrived they found an unoccupied boat going around in circles.

A 29 year old Lennox Island man was rescued from the water and taken to hospital for treatment.

The man told rescuers a large wave knocked him overboard while he was fishing.
