Jobs Boom Being Predicted In IT Security Sector

There is a silver lining to the onslaught of data breaches companies and other institutions have been experiencing lately.

That’s according to David Shipley of the University of New Brunswick’s I-T services who predicts web security is going to become an incredible area for job opportunities in the private sector as these types of cyber-attacks continue.

He says we will need everything from those who help monitor the 24-7 activity that happens on networks to those that develop new technologies for securing and protecting data to those who have skills sets surrounding investigating data breaches and hacks.

Shipley predicting data breaches will remain a major issue for at least the next ten years.
