Over a dozen legions across the country are taking part in the cross country Invictus Games National Flag tour, that includes a branch in Moncton.
Athletes who take part in the games, are wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and fellow veterans, who participate in several sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing.
Moncton is the only stop in New Brunswick for the flag tour. It happens on September 7th at Branch 6 on War Veterans Avenue.
The official Invictus flag will be carried by 150 flagbearers along the journey to help share the spirit of the Games.
The Games will be held September 23 to 30 in Toronto.
