It’s not being called a lockdown but the Atlantic Institution in Renous has implemented a modified routine following an inmate disturbance.
Prison officials says inmates within one unit refused to return to their cells earlier this week.
No reports of anyone getting hurt.
Visitors are being asked to contact the prison directly if a visit had been planned.
Officials say normal operations will resume once it’s considered safe to do so.
