A 74-year-old inmate at Dorchester Penitentiary has died.
Correctional Services says James Dixon is believed to have died of natural causes following an illness.
Dixon began serving a five year sentence in 2017 for sexual offences.
He died last Sunday, August 5th.
In all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and coroner are notified.
