An investigation is underway after an inmate assault in Renous.
Correctional Service Canada says it happened September 6th at the Atlantic Institution.
The inmate was evaluated by staff members and taken to an outside hospital to be treated.
RCMP says the assailants have been identified and appropriate action has been taken.
