Infrastructure Funding Announced For Riverview

Over $1.7 million in infrastructure funding has been announced for the Town of Riverview.

Funding will go towards improving the Mill Creek Nature Park by developing trails, creating a natural woodland playground, and installing a bridge on the south side of the park.

Additionally, 3.5 km of Pine Glen Road will be upgraded from the town limits to the Niagara Road.

The federal and provincial governments are each investing over $800,000 towards these projects and the Town of Riverview is providing the remainder of the funding.

Fundy Royal MP Alaina Lockhart and Albert MLA Mike Holland were on hand for Friday’s announcement at Riverview Town Hall.
