Indigo Dealing With ‘Cybersecurity Incident’

Canada’s largest bookstore chain says a “cybersecurity incident” is affecting its website and in-store systems.

Indigo Books & Music said its website will remain unavailable until further notice.

Customers shopping in-store are only able to pay with cash for the time being.

Indigo said it is unable to process electronic payments, or accept gift cards or returns.

The company said it is “working with third-party experts to investigate and resolve the situation.”

“Our hope is to have our systems back online as soon as possible,” said a message on its website.
