Freezing rain overnight, has made for slippery roads for parts of the province this morning.
This has forced the closure of schools in Anglophone East and Anglophone North this morning. Schools in Francophone South, with the exception of Saint John and Quispamsis are also closed today.
If you are heading out to work this morning, you’ll need to give yourself some extra time to scrape your vehicle.
Slow down and drive with care.
The ice is expected to melt as the temperatures rise today. We could see record temperatures, with Environment Canada forecasting a high of 14 degrees.
