Hundreds Gather To Grieve At Vigil For Barho Family

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was just one of hundreds to come together to mourn and offer support in Halifax after this week’s tragic house fire.

Seven children from a Syrian family that came in Canada in 2017, died in the fire. Their parents remain in hospital.

Halifax Mayor Mike Savage tweeted, “A beautiful ceremony tonight to honour the Barho family. Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support.”

As of Thursday morning, a Go Fund Me page for the family had already raised over $407, 000.
