This long stretch of hot and humid weather continues for much of New Brunswick.
A heat warning, which was first issued late Friday, remains in effect for southern, central and northeastern parts of the province.
Environment Canada said daytime highs will hover around 30°C for the next three days, with overnight lows near 19°C.
“Humidity is expected to increase on Tuesday and Wednesday, with maximum humidex values reaching 36 to 40,” said the national weather agency.
Forecasters said temperatures are expected to remain a bit cooler in some coastal communities.
“Temperatures across the province are expected to cool off somewhat beginning Wednesday evening as a trough of low pressure begins to move across the region.”

Environment Canada said you should try and schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day and seek a cool place when possible.
Meanwhile, a province-wide burn ban has been lifted in Saint John and northwestern New Brunswick, while burning is now allowed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. elsewhere.
