Human remains found on an island near Sheffield back in August being identified as that of missing man 40-year-old David John Watt.
The Mounties say Watt was a transient who had been living in Fredericton. He was reported missing to the Fredericton Police Force in February of this year and was last seen in the Fredericton area in December of last year.
The circumstances surrounding his death are still under his investigation as his cause of death hasn’t been determined. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP or the Fredericton Police.
