Fredericton Police are investigating the discovery of human remains in a landfill on the south side of the city.
Shortly before 9am Tuesday, Fredericton Police spokesperson Alycia Bartlett says officers were called to the city’s solid waste site on Alison Boulevard.
No other details have been released.
Bartlett adds this investigation remains active and more information is expected Wednesday morning.
