Human remains found at Fredericton landfill

Fredericton police are investigating the discovery of human remains at the city’s landfill.

Officers were called to the Capital Region Service Commission shortly before 11 a.m. Monday.

No other details about the discovery have been released at this time.

“The Fredericton Police Force continues to investigate,” police said in a Monday afternoon news release.
