Huge Book Sale To Benefit Laubach Literacy

If you’re looking for a huge used book sale while supporting a worthwhile cause, Bookstravaganza is the place to be in Moncton this weekend.

This is a fundraiser for Laubach Literacy which helps New Brunswickers improve their reading, writing and math skills.

Executive director Deanna Allen says about $25,000 was raised for the non-profit organization last year.

“Through the generosity of many supporters and books donated through the public over several weeks, we received over 20,000 books,” she says.

Laubach Literacy provides free and confidential one-to-one adult literacy tutoring services.

Bookstravaganza is being held in the gymnasium of Edith Cavell School, Friday evening from 5 to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 9am to 3pm.
