Hot Stretch Prompts Heat Warning

Fans and air conditioning will be working hard in New Brunswick this week.

A heat warning has been issued for the entire province warning of temperatures reaching 34 degrees with overnight lows near 18 degrees.

Warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses like heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

It’s a good idea in the hot weather to schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day and never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.

Cooler temperatures will move in over the weekend.
