A gourmet-style custom kitchen, a movie theatre and an outdoor swimming pool.
They are part of the $1-million grand prize showhome in this year’s New Brunswick Hospital Home Lottery.
It is the biggest grand prize in the 11-year history of the lottery — put on by the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation — and also includes $100,000 cash.

Jeff McAloon, foundation president and CEO, told our newsroom this year’s campaign will support a project at the New Brunswick Heart Centre.
“It’s a new technology called ICE that our electrophysiologists will be using, so that’ll support patients all over New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island who come to the New Brunswick Heart Centre,” McAloon said. “We’ll also be supporting our Clinic 1 ambulatory clinic renovation and expansion.”
The fully-furnished four-bedroom, four-bathroom showhome — located at 16 Heritage Way in Quispamsis — is one of more than 1,700 prizes up for grabs this year.

McAloon said you also have the chance to win luxury vehicles, exotic vacations, weekend trips and so much more.
“I hear every single year that people love the 1 in 20 chances of winning great prizes of course,” he said, “but more importantly people tell me that they really buy a ticket because they want to support advancing health-care in New Brunswick.”
McAloon said they have raised close to $7.5 million since 2008, including close to $1 million last year alone.

Tickets just went on sale for $100 each, three for $250, five for $375, and super packs for $500 — but McAloon you should not wait because they will likely sell out before the November 9 early bird deadline.
You can visit the showhome for yourself from 3 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from noon to 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
