In a new twist, the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation is teaming up with two Moncton hospital foundations for the 12th edition of the New Brunswick Hospital Home Lottery.
This year’s lottery includes a showhome in Quispamsis and a cottage in Grand-Barachois.

Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation President Jeff McAloon says they want to keep growing the lottery program and wanted to reach out to other geographies.
“We have looked at other markets who offered a holiday cottage as a prize and they are often very successful seeing a gacreat uptick with the public,” McAloon said.

This year’s grand prize showhome, which is worth $1 million, is located at 19 Heritage Way in Quispamsis.
“This a beautiful home, it’s a very different layout. 4,000 square feet of living space, the basement is partially finished with a pool table and hot tub outside, there is a really neat theatre room upstairs,” McAloon said.

The Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation is joining with the CHU Dumont Foundation and the Friends of the Moncton Hospital and will share all the proceeds from this year’s lottery.
The Quispamsis showhome opens on Thursday, September 5th. The hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m on weekends and holidays.

The ocean view cottage at 22 De La Baronnie Drive in Grand-Barachois opened on August 23rd.
It’s open on Thursdays and Fridays from 2 p.m to 8 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
