A lot can happen during a concert which is why Horizon Health staff will be on Magnetic Hill this Saturday for AC/DC.
A 70-person medical team will be volunteering their time to ensure everyone stays safe along with paramedics from Ambulance New Brunswick.
For the first time, Horizon nurse manager Trina Brown says a sexual assault nurse examiner will also be on-site.
“One of the concerns is always that people consume too much (alcohol) or there is always the risk of advantage being taken… that sort of thing,” Brown notes.
Horizon Health is encouraging concert-goers to drink responsibly, stay hydrated with water, wear sunscreen and dress appropriately given that it will likely cool off as the evening wears on.
