The Moncton Hospital is now offering free wifi to all patients.
Helping patients stay connected to friends and family is important while they are in the hospital according to Horizon Health Chief Operating Officer Andrea Seymour.
She adds their first strategic priority of creating and sustaining a patient and family centred care environment.
The network will allow patients to access websites, social media and email.
Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation Executive Director Linda Saunders says wifi will help patients combat the sense of isolation some feel in hospital.
