Honouring three RCMP officers lost on June 4, 2014

Three fallen RCMP officers are being remembered today.

Twelve years ago, Moncton lost three of its RCMP members during tragic events that brought the community to a standstill.

The public is invited to attend a small ceremony of friendship hosted by the Codiac RCMP to be held at 4:30 pm today at the Honour Garden Memorial along the Petitcodiac River.

It will honour Constables Doug Larche, Dave Ross, and Fabrice Gevaudan, and all others affected by the events of June 4, 2014.

A moment of silence will be observed at 5:00 p.m.

The City of Moncton was locked down for over two days during the tragic events on June 4, 2014, as the RCMP searched for a gunman who shot and killed three officers and injured Constable Darlene Goguen and Constable Éric Dubois
