Hiring Underway In Metro Moncton For Westjet

The hiring process is now underway at Westjet which is looking for more than 400 bilingual call centre employees in Metro Moncton.

After the employees are trained, they will be based in their homes instead of a traditional call centre environment.

Westjet President/CEO Gregg Saretsky says the mostly full-time positions come with a great deal of flexibility.

“They (employees) get to roll out of bed in the morning and get to go to work in their pajamas. During their lunch break, they go do their laundry or do some gardening or even run a quick errand,” he notes.

Westjet has a call centre in Alberta but wanted to enhance services for French customers which is why the airline is hiring in Metro Moncton.
