A New Brunswick woman and a Nova Scotia man had to be rescued by RCMP, after leaving the main trail to explore Amethyst Cove in Nova Scotia.
The 23 year old woman from Dieppe, and the 30 year old man from Halifax were hiking on Saturday night when they became stranded.
A rescue team, made up of firefighters, assisted the hikers and they were treated on scene for exhaustion.
