After 14 years in operation, the weekly arts and entertainment magazine has officially ceased operations, according to sources close to the paper.
Nelson Hum, a freelance video game reviewer with Here for the past 7 years, tells CHSJ News he was informed he should stop writing his column effective immediately.
Distributed throughout the tri-cities since 2000, Here was billed as an alternative weekly, even after its sale to Brunswick News in October 2004.
Here was originally founded by Mark Leger, Janet Scott, Judith Mackin and Stephen Yaffe.
Brunswick News owns every English-language daily newspaper in the province.
