Heavy rain, winds and hail hit southeastern N.B.

Some wild weather in southeastern New Brunswick.

A system that blew through on Thursday afternoon brought high winds, heavy rain and hail to some communities.

The intensity caught some residents off guard.

Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings were issued mid-afternoon.

The system lasted around 30 minutes.

Wind gusts at the Confederation Bridge registered at over 150 kilometres per hour at one point.
