Environment and Climate Change Canada is putting out a special weather statement as a fall storm takes aim at Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick.
Meteorologist Darin Borgel says a big low pressure system moving up into Quebec is joining forces with a tropical system way down in Florida.
“Some energy from that will be absorbed into this system so it’s going to be fairly energetic, [a] vigorous low,” says Borgel. “It’s gonna bring some rain, at time heavy, and some pretty strong winds to most of New Brunswick.”
Borgel says we can expect between 20 and 40 millimetres of rain, beginning tomorrow with high winds between 70 and 90 kilometres per hour.
