Heating Oil Prices Drop Again

Another unexpected drop in heating oil prices on Friday night in New Brunswick.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause at midnight.

Furnace oil is now selling for a maximum of $1.70 per litre, a drop of more than six cents.

The change only affects heating oil as gasoline and diesel prices remain unchanged.

Regular self-serve is selling for a maximum of $1.59 per litre while the most you are paying for diesel is $2.04 per litre.
