Heath Johnson has announced that he is running for councillor at large in the municipal elections.
The department head of Business and IT at Oulton College is looking to bring his expertise to Riverview Town Council and believes experience helping young entrepreneurs reach their potential can benefit Riverview’s economy.
“I want to attract more businesses and families to Riverview through economic development, while ensuring continuing infrastructure development to serve our growing population,” Heath said.
Johnson was selected to Moncton’s Top 20 Under 40 list by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton.
He is passionate about using volunteerism, engagement and collaborative dialogue to build the community.
Johnson was seeking election for Riverview’s ward two last spring before the postponement.
