It is going to be another scorcher of a weekend for much of New Brunswick.
A heat warning was issued late Friday afternoon for southern, central and northeastern parts of the province.
Environment Canada said daytime highs near 30°C are expected for the next three to five days.
“Nighttime temperatures Saturday into Sunday are expected to range from 17 to 20 degrees, which will not provide much relief from the heat,” said the weather agency.
Humidex values should remain below 35 this weekend but could exceed 36 on Tuesday and Wednesday as the humidity builds.
“Extreme heat affects everyone. The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.”
Meanwhile, if you are looking to have a campfire, burning is currently restricted to between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.
The burning information will be updated again around 2 p.m. Saturday.
