Heat warning for much of N.B.

It is going to be a hot and humid couple of days across much of the province.

A heat warning has been issued for nearly all of central and southern New Brunswick.

Daytime highs will range between 27°C and 30°C on both Friday and Saturday.

When you factor in the humidity, the feel-like temperature will be between 36 and 39.

“The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors,” Environment Canada said in its warning.

Cooler conditions can be expected along the Fundy coast, where there is no heat warning in effect.
