Head-On Collision Kills 42-Year-Old N.B. Man

A two-car collision in northeastern New Brunswick has claimed the life of a 42-year-old man from Tilley Road.

On Sunday morning around 7:20 am, members of the Tracadie RCMP responded to a report of a head-on collision between a car and a pickup truck on Route 365, according to a news release issued by the RCMP.

The driver of the car died at the scene due to his injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

RCMP said a collision reconstructionist was at the scene and is helping with the investigation.

Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed or who has information about the collision to call the Tracadie RCMP at 506-393-3000.
