A man was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries after a half-ton truck crashed through the wall of a nursing home on Thursday afternoon.
Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Brian McDonald says first responders arrived at Spencer’s Nursing Home off Salisbury Road shortly after 3 p.m.
McDonald says much of the half-ton truck was lodged inside the building which he adds is not something they see very often.
The driver was pulled out through the passenger door.
No one inside the building was hurt.
McDonald noted that portion of the building was a storage room and washroom.
RCMP are investigating the cause of the crash.
