Two Nova Scotia inmates, in their 20’s, changed their pleas to guilty after being accused of punching and kicking Dennis Oland at the maximum security Renous Penetentiary in July of 2016.
Oland is now awaiting a date for his second trial on a charge of second degree murder in the death of his father, Richard in July of 2011.
Oland was convicted in December of 2015 but that decision was later overturned by the New Brunswick Court of Appeal.
