Grocery Store Food Drive Collects Record Amount In N.B.

More than $117, 000 worth of food was collected over the Christmas season thanks to Atlantic Superstore customers.

The tenth annual holiday food drive that ran in December, brought in over 47,000 pounds of food in New Brunswick, collected by Loblaw and affiliated grocery stores.

Executive Director for the Food Depot Alimentaire Chantal Senecal says this comes at a critical time of year, and helps keeps shelves stocked all winter long.
