Gregory Depres To Face Review Board Today

Gregory Despres is expected to face a review board today for a mental health assessment.

He’ll make an appearance in a Moncton courtroom.

Despres has been housed at the Shepody Healing Centre at the Dorchester Penitentiary since 2008…when a judge ruled that he was not criminally responsible for the horrific stabbing deaths of his neighbours 74 year old Fred Fulton and 70 year old Verna Decarie in 2005 in Minto.

A judge ruled that he suffered from a mental delusion at the time of the murders.

Despres was last assessed in May of 2013.
