Corporate Research Associates has conducted another poll on the hot button issue of amalgamation in Greater Moncton.
Similar to a survey a year ago, 57 percent of those asked say they support the amalgamation of Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe into one municipality.
Meantime, 36 percent are opposed to the idea and the rest didn’t know or didn’t offer an opinion.
It continues to be a different story in Riverview where 67 percent are opposed to amalgamation.
But the numbers are reverse in the other two municipalities with 66 percent supporting the idea in Moncton and 63 percent in favour in Dieppe.
CRA polled 400 adults in Greater Moncton over a recent two-week period.
