Rainbow flags have been appearing more frequently this week as the Greater Moncton River of Pride committee marks Pride Week.
Kareoke, bingo, bowling, softball and a boat cruise in Shediac Bay have been all part of the celebration.
River of Pride president Jacob Beal says events will wrap up this weekend with a parade tomorrow afternoon.
“There is no entry fee. We want to be an inclusive community and we want to make sure for the parade that we have a large amount of people involved,” notes Beal.
The parade starts Saturday at 1 p.m. and runs along Main Street from Foundry Street to Bore View Park where a community celebration is planned with food vendors, music and performance shows.
