There is less than two weeks for people to proclaim their favourite destination.
The ‘Great Places in Canada’ contest is accepting nominations until September 3.
Entries have been submitted from across the Maritimes along with central and western Canada.
The contest encourages people to nominate a street, neighbourhood or public space they consider to be unique.
The ideas are then collected and judged by the members of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
Finalists will be announced in October, with winners declared on November 4.
