The Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce believes the downtown centre stamp of approval is the start of something new and exciting for the region.
CEO Carol O’Reilly says a lot of projects that chamber members have put on the back burner will now come to fruition.
“It’s a real game-changer for our community. Our downtown area is going to be transformed. There are going to be so many things happening, it’s going to be so exciting,” notes O’Reilly.
In addition to revitalizing the downtown, O’Reilly says the new centre will be a catalyst to bring in more people and more tax revenue.
