By now most of us with a credit card are finding out just how much we overspent in December and for many, it can be the beginning of major debt problems.
President and CEO of Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada says it can come as a shock to many.
“People sort of anticipate where they are at, but the bill when it comes it is a reality, this is what I have done, it’s the hangover of 2018,” says Eisner.
Instead of lying awake at night worrying about it all, you can always seek help from a professional such as Eisner.
” The secret is to be proactive rather than reactive, it doesn’t take anything to go and seek help, sit down and do a full assessment to get a handle on where you truly are today,” stated Eisner.
He says they will only recommend bankruptcy as a last resort in some cases, but once they do get involved with your creditors, you won’t be getting those threatening phone calls anymore.
