A German airlines flight made an unscheduled stop in Moncton early this week because of a medical emergency.
In the middle of the night on Tuesday, the Condor Airlines operated Boeing 767 was over Prince Edward Island on the way to Munich, Germany, when a passenger had a medical emergency.
The pilot requested a diversion to the Greater Moncton Romeo LeBlanc International Airport, and asked for an ambulance to be there on arrival according to a Transport Canada occurrence report.
One passenger was taken to hospital but there’s no further information on their state.
The flight from Cancun, Mexico resumed two and a half hours later.
