New Brunswickers will see gas prices take a bit of a dip this week, according to an industry source.
Maximum prices for regular gasoline are expected to go down by around 3.5 cents per litre Thursday night.
Diesel prices will also see a drop by 1.5 cents per litre.
Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.66 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.95 per litre for diesel and $1.60 per litre for home heating oil.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.63 to $1.67 per litre, while diesel sells for between $1.91 and $1.95 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.70 per litre, diesel costs around $2.00 per litre, and home heating oil sells for a maximum of $1.42 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
