Gas prices heading down, diesel prices going up

Another big dip in gasoline prices is expected this week in New Brunswick.

An industry source says the maximum price will drop more than six cents per litre on Thursday night.

That is when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board will make its weekly price adjustment.

Diesel users, on the other hand, will see costs rise by around two cents.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.82 per litre for regular self-serve and $2.10 per litre for diesel.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.74 to $1.78 per litre while diesel is selling for between $2.06 and $2.10 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.73 per litre while diesel costs around $2.09 per litre.
