Gas, diesel prices up across N.B.

Gas and diesel prices are up across New Brunswick as expected.

The maximum price for regular self-serve climbed by one cent overnight.

The most you will now pay is $1.86 per litre — the highest price since November.

Diesel prices jumped more than five cents to a maximum of $2.00 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Similar increases were recorded in Nova Scotia, where regular self-serve now ranges from $1.85 to $1.89 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.96 and $2.01 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.85 per litre, while diesel costs around $2.02 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
