Gas, Diesel Prices Up Across N.B.

Fuel prices have jumped quite a bit more than expected this week in New Brunswick.

The price of gasoline climbed by more than 5.5 cents per litre overnight.

Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum of $1.80 per litre.

The most you will now pay for diesel is $1.96 per litre, an increase of more than eight cents.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Meanwhile, the price of heating oil climbed by more than eight cents to nearly $1.75 per litre.

Propane prices, on the other hand, fell by nearly two cents to a maximum of $1.19 per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
