New Brunswickers will be paying more for fuel as the long weekend approaches.
Regular self-serve gasoline has risen by 6.1 cents per litre, according to the latest price adjustments by the Energy and Utilities Board.
Diesel and furnace oil also saw price hikes, each rising by 6.3 cents per litre
Both diesel and regular self-serve gas in the province now have a maximum price of $1.46 per litre, while furnace oil sits at $1.34 per litre.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.45 to $1.49 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.42 and $1.46 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.51 per litre, diesel costs around $1.53 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.12 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
